Published since 2008, the Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Pathology (BJVP) has become an important venue for dissemination of knowledge in the field of veterinary pathology. BJVP has progressively become an international journal eihter in terms audience as well as in regard to the origin of original contribuitions, with a vast number of readers and contributors worldwide. The Brazilian Associantion of Veterinary Pathology (ABPV, wich stands for “Associação Brasileira de Patologia Veterinária” in Portuguese) is a national nonprofit organization, with headquarters in Botucatu (State of São Paulo, Brazil) at School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science at UNESP (São Paulo State University). ABPV congregates veterirnay professionals and students working within the field of veterinary pathology. ABPV organizes and promotes scientific and academic meetings, seminars, courses, aiming technical and scientific advancement of the veterinary pathology in Brazil and South America.
