About the BJVP

The Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Pathology (ISSN 1983-0246) is the official electronic journal of the Brazilian Association of Veterinary Pathology, published since 2008. The purpose of the BJVP, a peer-reviewed journal, is to publish original full papers, short communications, case reports, letters, and reviews (by invited experts). The preferable subjects  is natural and experimental pathology. All manuscripts recieved are submitted to scientific reviewers. Opinions statements expressed in the BJVP reflect the viewpoints of the contributors and do not represent official policy of the Brazilian Association of Veterinary Pathology, unless so stated.
The abbreviation of its title is Braz. J. Vet. Pathol. and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references, and bibliographic strips.

 

Scope

Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Pathology publishes original full papers, invited review articles, short communications, case reports, letters to the Editor, and Editors viewpoint. The scope of BJVP includes diagnostic, comparative, and experimental pathology of domestic, laboratory, and wildlife animal species. Studies in the fields of toxicology and clinical pathology are also welcome.

 

Copyright and Open Access statement

BJVP is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. From 2008 to 2023, the copyright of articles published by BJVP was transferred to the journal. Actually, BJVP adopts the Creative Commons license attribution-type BY (learn more about this license). Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
